The club had 12 representatives in the 30th edition of the Dublin City Marathon on Bank Holiday Monday.
For some it was their first attempt at a marathon and it was great that all 12 completed the course.

Fionnuala Keane had a time of 3 hours 4 minutes and was 2nd in the
O-35 category--a mere 41 seconds behind the winner of the category.
Fionnuala went through 10k in 41:45 and reached halfway in 1 hour 29 minutes.
Special mention must be given to Cait Quinn and Nicola Burke who became involved in running through the FIT4LIFE programme and within a short period of time were able to take on the marathon distance.
Well done to the two of them!!!!!!
